Hikes, Gardens, and Buses oh my!

The St Francis ministry is ramping up for an amazing spring and summer.

Kicking off this month with a hike in Temescal Canyon and a volunteer day at Greystone Garden.

Our Mercy and Justice ministry is getting ready for another year partnering with Get On The Bus.

Temescal Canyon Hike

hikespeak.com

Please join us for a getaway hike into nature–waterfalls, amazing ocean views and lush, wooden canyons.  We will meet by the trail board at the end of the main road into the park by the trail head.  This is a moderate 4-mile hike, about 2.5 hours.  Temescal Canyon is at 15601 Sunset Blvd Pacific Palisades.

Contact Carey Usher for more info!

Here is a link to more info about the trail in general.  Carey has a little bit different route so please make sure to contact her before heading out!

Get on The Bus Kick Off

get on the bus

Each year we partner with Get On The Bus to help children visit incarcerated mom’s.  We accompany children to the detention center and give them books and bears on behalf of their mother. It is a really powerful time for the children as well as volunteers.  Help us prepare for the opportunity by donating books, bears, or time.  April 14th.

Contact Debbie Gauer for more info on how to help.
